• Student Profile Data: Grade level, board (CBSE/ICSE), school name, city, state, and avatar selected by the user.
• Quiz & Performance Data: Quiz responses, scores, streaks, and topic-level mastery data generated during usage.
• Payment Information: Transaction identifiers processed by Razorpay. We do not store full card or bank account details.
• Device & Usage Data: Browser type, IP address, operating system, pages visited, and session duration collected automatically via analytics.

We use the collected information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service
• Personalise quiz content and performance insights for each student profile
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send important service notifications and updates
• Enforce our Terms of Service and prevent fraud
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service Providers: Trusted third parties that help us operate the Service (e.g., MongoDB Atlas for database hosting, Razorpay for payments, Firebase for authentication, Vercel for hosting).

• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user data may be transferred as part of the transaction.

All third-party service providers are bound by contractual obligations to keep your data confidential and use it only for the specified purposes.

Our Service is designed for school students and requires verifiable parental consent before a child's profile is created. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. Parents may review, update, or request deletion of their child's data by contacting us at admin@quizbot.in.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from the Settings page. Upon deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where required by law.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS/HTTPS), JWT-based authentication, and access-controlled databases. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
